Meet Dr. Nikki Peebles

Hi! My name is Dr. Nikki Peebles (Porteus), but most patients call me Dr. Nikki. Born and raised in Denver, CO, I attended the University of Colorado at Boulder, where I graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Integrative Physiology in 2007. After experiencing a life-changing improvement of my debilitating migraines (while under chiropractic care) I decided to pursue a career as a chiropractor. I received my Doctorate of Chiropractic at Parker College of Chiropractic, in Dallas, in 2013.

I have been practicing chiropractic since 2014 and opened Renew & Restore Wellness, in Southlake, in 2017. Since then I have added a location in Las Colinas, within Birthpointe birthing center and another location in North Arlington, within The Truman at Arlington Commons. In addition to my regular chiropractic coursework, I have completed a great deal of training in chiropractic care for the prenatal and pediatric populations. I am CACCP (Certified by the Academy Council of Chiropractic Pediatrics), Webster Certified, and a member of the ICPA. You can read more about what these certifications mean here. While I absolutely love providing chiropractic care for people of all ages, my pregnant moms and little ones have a very special place in my heart! Because of this love, I haven been nominated as a Mom-Approved Chiropractor in Dallas Child Magazine in 2016 - 2017 and Fort Worth Child Magazine 2018 - 2023.

When I’m not at the office seeing patients, I enjoy spending time with my husband Rodger, my son Kashus and my golden doodle Rocky. I love to be outside taking walks, hiking, or snowboarding. And I seek to travel and see as much of the world as possible.

My passion and vision is to empower individuals and families to lead healthier lives as they become better versions of themselves. My sincere hope is that these changes will positively impact many generations to come.

I’m a native Texan and spent some time in Oklahoma where I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and my Master’s degree in International Agriculture from Oklahoma State University. With functional movement and aligning the mind and body inspired the way I approach wellness and the body.

I earned my Doctorate in Chiropractic, Master’s in Human Strength and Performance and certification in Animal Chiropractic from Parker University. Within my adjusting style I use several techniques including functional movement, cupping, diversified, Thompson drops, activator, MC2 technique and craniosacral certified.

I take care of all ages. Every soul has a place within this practice. With chiropractic and functional movement, I will work with you and your unique body releasing tension from your spine, strengthening areas that are of concern while adding more ease into your life. Let us help you by removing the interferences within your spine so that you can shine and live your life in full vitality.

When Dr Chelsey is not in the office, you’ll find her spending time outdoors with her husband and three sons, playing with their dogs, swimming or serving animals with chiropractic needs

Meet Dr. Bailey McDonald

Hi, I’m Dr. Bailey! I grew up on a family farm in central Kentucky, where I developed a strong foundation in agriculture that continues to influence how I serve today with patience, intention, and deep respect for the body’s natural design.

Before beginning chiropractic school, I lived in Georgia, where I truly witnessed the power of the body and the profound impact chiropractic care can have. I saw how holding space, offering support, and honoring the nervous system allows individuals to function and thrive at their fullest potential. My passion lies in serving prenatal, pregnancy, and pediatric populations while supporting whole-family wellness. As a nervous system-focused chiropractor, I believe the body is capable of incredible things, and it is constantly adapting, healing, and working toward balance. I value connection, trust, and intentional care in every season of life.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from Murray State University and my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University. I have completed extensive training in tonal and osseous adjusting techniques, gentle adjustments (which never require popping or cracking if you prefer), cranial work, and family-centered care. I am a member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association and hold my Webster Certification through the ICPA. I am also Animal Chiropractic Certified through Parker University.

Life isn’t linear. Neither is healing nor growth. Both take time. Our bodies are always changing, and I am honored to hold space for you in whatever phase of life you are in.

Outside of the office, I love spending time with my husband, Grant, especially enjoying slow evenings on the patio, dining at our favorite restaurants, and traveling together. Most recently, we visited the Arctic Circle in Finland to see the Northern Lights.
